Batch-Save of good effects on an image
I load image-01.tif.
Now I scroll through the effects. Sometimes I like an effect. I want to flag this. Then I see an effect and like it a little bit modified. I modify it. I then want to flag this (modified) effect, too. After having selected some 10 or 20 effects I like, I want them to be batch-applied to my image01.tif by saving them:
image-01.tif => image-01_effect-A.jpg,
image-01.tif => image-01_effect-C.jpg,
...
image-01.tif => image-01_effect-N.jpg
This should be very easy to implement. With other software I do comparisons of the new modified images to select the very best.

Hi Mino,
I did asked something similar some time ago, you can check it here (there's a reply in it from Darren as well), we are asking for the same, isn't Mino?

Indeed, Arwin,
that's similar. And I found, that I had asked for this feature already some months ago, but simply forgotten. I just want SPE to browse *fast* through possible candidates. SPE is all about speed in my workflow.
E.g. Sepia, b&w, ..., soft glow, supervignette, etc. each give a nice new look of my photo. I want to tag/flag these effects. And when done browsing I want SPE to produce these versions as JPG or TIFF with just one click.
You seem to go a step further?! You want to combine 2 or more effects on an image?! Image-01.tiff => Image-01_Sepia_SoftGlow.jpg. ?!
Anyway: speed is the thing of SPE. That's why I don't want to play around with the settings but just get what I like out of hundreds of preset effects. And then with just one click I hopefully have 20 new images I can select from with my other software. I am afraid that Tony and the team will not implement this. I don't want another Photoshop. I want SPE, however, they are not going to do it. Flagging the effects and save as is not difficult to program.
We (both) are not enough users wanting this feature...

Hi Mino,
What I like to see is just a method to set the path where the batch will save the files and to give a suffix to the filename (instead of the current and fixed _pe).
Why are you afraid they will not implement this? Darren was quite positive in his reply, its just a matter of a todo list I think, he's not saying they dont want to implement or its not possible.
Maybe they want indeed to see if there's more interest in before they start to implement, thats why I hooked up on your topic
