viewing SPE images in photoshop
Can anyone advise me please ?
When I save several versions of images in SPE, then go into Photoshope to view all the changes, they all show the same original image until I actually click on each one of them, then it shows the changes one by one. They used to show ALL the changes at the same time, but they do not now. What am I doing wrong please ? HELP.
I would like to get this right before I get the update that I am looking forward to. Thank you in advance.

Hi vally123, can you provide a more detailed step-by-step description of your workflow? Your description leaves too many questions open, so I don't understand exactly what you are doing.
Re: viewing SPE images in photoshop
Hello EADAMS, 1) I open in SPE 2)Choose filter 3) click o.k 4) File 5) save as JPG 6) click o.k on jpg window 7) modify file name to distinguish from original, and click save. 8) The resulting thumb nail in documents still shows the original. However if I double click on it , it opens in windows photo viewer then showing the filter has been applied.

Hi vally123,
The issue of the thumbnail not updating to see the changes you made in SPE is a known problem. See this discussion about the issue for more details: http://photoeditor.anthropics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2423
Since only the small and medium sized thumbnails have this problem, you can use the following workaround:
In Windows File Manager click on the View menu and select Large or Extra Large icons. I know this is inconvenient because fewer icons fit on the screen, but at least the thumbnails will show the changes you made in SPE.
I just tried the same thing in Photoshop in the FILE - OPEN dialog box, and there I had to toggle from large icons to small icons and back to large icons again in order to see updated thumbnails. I don't understand why that was necessary.

Thanks again EADAMS you are so helpful and efficient. I will take on board your advice, but I am glad I am not the only who has had this annoying hicup.
It seems it has only started recently, so hopefully it will be resolved in the new upgrade. I am very grateful for your help. vally123
