I bought PP15 Replace the background
I'm not good at this program but is there a way to replace the background so I could put myself or others on that new background?

You need to learn about using composite layers. Take the picture you want to replace the background (e.g. some sky). Use the composite feature (button on right) and go for overlay. Now open the picture that contains the image of yourself (or others). This will be placed on top of the original image. Now remove the whatever is not needed in this second photo and you will see the first picture emerge. Now its a question of time to get it just right. You can use 'underlay' as well as 'overlay'. Depends upon the picture and what is easiest.

..and just to add, if you were simply replacing sky with a different sky then there is a much easier option using Select Area, top right.
