Please HELP...

Yikes, SPE seems to have one hiccup after another, at least for me anyhow. As of today the latest is a pop up window error message when saving a image file; it states "Warning: Original 16 bit source file not available, processing stored 8 bit version instead. I had been using version 1.21.15 and when the new issues started today I read through messages and answers here on "Bugs" forum and downloaded from link provided 1.20.6. Still getting same above noted error message and all the usual "SPE not responding", etc. etc. Have to add on this note for me the program has been pretty frustrating from day one...
What is up and what should I do?

That message just means that you started working on a picture and saved a session file, but then removed the original picture. It shouldn't make any difference unless your original picture was 16bits, in which case it only uses the 8bit version stored in the session file.
