Session save does not save the selection, or anything really
Hi,
I made a selection, and saved a session. When I open the session, it only shows the original image. To me, a SESSION means "Whatever I've done until the point I save", so when I open a saved session, I should be able to continue from the exact point I left off. Hence, it should include EVERYTHING necessary to resume a session (such as the selection, shortlisted effects etc).
What is the point of saving a session, if it does not save the part (selection) that we spend the most time on?
Will this be fixed/implemented soon?
Thanks.
GT

Hi Eadams, GT-Force,
What Eadams says isn't quite true. Selections are never discarded, however they are only displayed along the top with an effect that uses them. To use any mask that you've created and has been saved in a session, just hover your mouse over the effects gallery and choose show gallery for background (or whatever your mask name is). If nothing pops up when you hover over the Gallery button, make sure Descriptions for tools on right is checked in your settings.

Hello ,
I am using this program for over 2 years and today after I clicked ok for saving my image nothing was happening . I tried many times , it keeps "saving" for ever .
I reboot the computer , it opens my whole session , I go and repeat all the usual steps but nothing is happening .
What's the problem ?
Thank You for any help

Dear Iskierka,
The most likely explanation is that you've added an effect that takes a long time to process. There are a few that smooth out noise in the image that on some computers can take many minutes to process depending on the image size.
