Wacom Intuos Mouse

So, I've a Wacom Intuos Touch 5 Medium graphics tablet. Using the tablet with the pen and everything is fine, but when I try to use the mouse nothing works. It seems that mouse clicks will not trigger the program buttons, not even the "load image" button on the initial page!

I know once in the program it's far easier to use the pen, but there are times when the mouse is more convenient!
