Area Treatment problem

Postby rdailey4 » Thu May 09, 2013 11:54 pm

When I choose area treatment to raise the exposure ONLY on the eyes, it does indeed lighten them up. However when I save the file and re-open it, there is a reddish tint over the entire face. I have tried it multiple ways, ie. one eye at a time, one eye then new area and the 2nd eye, and it always has a tint effect on the entire face after saving. I have the full version. Help.

Hi Tony

I have, I think the same problem, in that after saving my image I get this red tint on the entire image when I open it in PS or windows viewer. If I open the file in Irfan View there is no color discrepancy.

Thanks - Theo

Hi,

There is currently a bug in SPE with the Area treatment tool that in certain circumstances can result in a colour shift. The bug has been fixed and is in testing.
