Printing results not working

I have tried to print directly to my canon MG6150 bu only get two thirds of the photo onto a 6 inch by 4 inch print. I have tried to adjust settings in the printer control box but no changes. Anyone have suggestions on how best to print, or do i have to save and re-open in photoshop?

Printing from the Smart Photo Editor is really just for previewing. So many other programs do printing really well, and some of them are free, so we have decided not to add more printing functionality to the Smart Photo Editor as that is not it's intended purpose.

If you have Photoshop that would be a good choice for printing. One of the free programs that does printing well is irfanview.
