troubleshooting

Whenever I hit AUTO rendering begins and the photo turns red but it freezes up there almost every time.
Any thoughts?? I have 64-bit Windows 8.1

Could you tell me a bit more about what you are doing when it goes wrong? Does it happen on every picture? Do you get to name the area after pressing Auto?
