Using my own photos

How do I drag or place my own photos in the program to edit? I hope I can do this... which is the main reason I bought the software!

Yes, of course you can load your own photos, otherwise it would be pretty useless! 
At any time, go to the File menu in the top left and choose "Open". You can also drag and drop photos onto the software window. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like help with.
