New Update( not responding)?
Last night I downloaded the latest update 64 Bit, when I am applying a effect and hit save and it starts rendering it is very slow and goes into a (not responding) and it takes a longtime before it will complete a save. What is the problem?

Dear Mountain Slicer,
A small number of effects are just very slow. They normally involve de-noising of some sort, which is a very CPU intensive algorithm. My best guess is that it's co-incidence that you stumbled across a very slow effect at the same time that you updated the software. If you keep seeing this with lots of effects, let me know which ones and I can try them here.

Downloaded new update and now it tries to close program when loading an image. Where do I get a working program?

I'm sorry to hear that. Which version are you using? We did have some problems with a recent version, but hopefully they are resolved now with v1.21.15. If you are having problems with that version we would really like to know what kind of image you were trying to load.
To get you up to speed again, you can always download an old version from here:
64 bit windows
Standard edition:
