Problem opening image in spe

am having problem loading an image from lr5. In lr5 i hit edit in,then i hit in smart photo editor, and then hit edit with lr adjustments. Then i do not get a transfer to spe(or it does not load the image. Why not?

??? Works fine on my machine. (LR 5.4 - PC W7 64 bit) Opens right up in SPE.

solved my own problem as i was tryihng to open image in .psd format and not tiff. So i changed the picture format in lidghtroom preferences from psd to tif. And voila ,problem solved!!
