SPE 64 bit? yet

I've been away for a bit and have not kept up with SPE. I am planning to build another computer that is win 8 and 64 bit w/8gigs ram.
Does SPE 1.18 support 64 bit and win 8 or still 32bit?
There are some great usb touchscreen monitors coming out that support win 8 touch so I looking forward to some of these developments.
I see the new Pro Portrait is 64 bit so I'm hoping SPE is or will be as well.

Hi,
There's not currently a 64 bit version of SPE. However the 32 bit version works (and works better) on a 64 bit OS. We are planning to have a 64 bit version of SPE in the future to take full advantage of 64 bit OSs.
