Using 'padded area'
Every time I try to reduce the padded area size either by using the slider or by putting in the range figure that I want the program crashes and I have to start all over again.
The close program window gives the following information -

Could you be more specific? Which padded area slider are you referring to? Is it in a specific effect?

It occurs when I am using the effect - Glowing Beauty. I have not tried other effects to see if the same fault occurs.

Nothing that will help Adrian but I've tried the effect here, changed the padded area slider and had no ploblems..

Increasing the padded area a lot can potentially make your picture very big and so take up a lot of memory. Are you using the 64bit build? That version can access a lot more memory than the 32bit version.

Adding more ram should certainly make the software feel faster. A lack of RAM shouldn't cause the software to crash though. Have you had the same problems with other effects?
