Pic's are too large

How can I use this program to make my head shot's smaller? To put them on Canvas they need to be like a 30 by 40 but I need the image to be 10X10 or 10X12 and still catch the entire photo.

You shouldn't need to do anything: when printing it should automatically resize pictures to fit. Making them smaller in SPE will just end up with blurrier pictures as you throw away detail to make them smaller. Most printing systems should also give you the ability to crop to make it the right shape, but SPE also has a crop tool to do that too.
