how large a file will work
I've just started with the trial version and am wondering if there is a limit to file size. I work in photoshop with landscape images that are 24 inches by 36inches at 200 to 300 dpi. These images start from a 18 megapixel jpeg/
I like the filters even though i?m just starting to test this.
Some software bogs down with large files and the processing takes forever.
I'd like to hear from others that use these filters for large files.
The second thing is it possible to go into a filter to see hows it's constructed, watercolor and grunge looks very interesting.
I hope to use these filters with both photoshop and corel painter 12.1 and print out some large size images without any artifacts or pixelating.

Re: how large a file will work
Hi Wyndham,
We don't have any specific limits on file size. How long things take to render on the screen when you are zoomed out should be relatively independent of the file size, as it only renders the pixels you can see, saving and and panning a zoomed in image take more time. We are working on a GPU version of the software which if you have a graphics card of a good specification will speed things up by up to a factor of 10 in our tests.
If you want to see how an effect is constructed, apply it, then right click on its tab on the top of the screen and choose "Manual Edit".

Tony did you do the Watercolor effect,it's the best WC filter of any filter outside of SPE. and maybe the best period, can't wait to try some large format printing with may epson.
Yes, the GPU would be a great help.

If it's the watercolor effect that says "By Tony", then yes, I'm the same Tony. Thanks!
