Did I loose my original image?

I opened an image from my hard drive and tried some of the effects on it. I then discovered I couldn't save it because I am using the trial version. Have I lost my original image? It is blank on my hard drive. Is there any way to recover the original?

The trial version can't save any picture files, that means your original image should never be touched by the trail software.
