object placement

Postby Bettina13 » Sat Oct 31, 2015 10:43 am

I am confused as to how to properly place objects on a background for correct placement. For instance, say I wanted a girl on a beach but the program places her floating above the ground. How do I fix this? It seems I cant move the girl and I cant see the background behind the girl layer to tell where I am placing her. Is there a way to cut out the girl so I can tell where I am placing her? Or do I need to go about this differently?

If you're using the composite tool, just click on the button labled "Move Rotate and Scale" and you will be able to move your overlay around by dragging on the picture. Take a look at the end of the second video on this page to see an example.

Kind regards,

Tony
