Tree stump needs darkening
I am sorry if I am asking in the wrong place but I have a selected area I want to darken. It is a tree stump with a bird sitting on it.
The stump needs to be darker. I tried the selection tool and went over it but the effects I try do not look natural.
Is there something you can suggest that would look good on wood to darken it. I really do want to use this photo.
Thank you

Re: Tree stump needs darkening
It depends on why your trunk doesn't look natural after darkening. One thing you could try is using the Airbrush rather than the smart brush to produce a softer mask. Another thing to try would be to use the sliders to make the darkening effect more subtle.
