shortlist

I would like to be able to save all my shortlists - is there a function to allow this?
Also, if I have a shortlist in, say, artistic, and then look in dramatic and make a shortlist there, instead of adding it to my existing shortlist, I find my "artistic" shortlist is no longer there. Is there anyway to save everything in one shortlist rather than having to go to the favourites box (which I find really cumbersome as it means I have to keep a list of all the effects I have applied)?
