Saving as a session

How come I sometimes can "Save As A Session" with all my edits and other times I just get a "Save and Close". I cannot always remember all of the filters I have put on an image.

You should always be able to save as session if you are using SPE as a stand-alone program.
If you are accessing SPE as a plugin from Photoshop or some other graphics program, you can only save and close to return to the host program.

Any filters that you apply from the gallery will be shown when you hover over Favorites/Recent/Shortlist.
