I am using as plug-in to Lightroom.

All plug ins I currently have working from Lightroom will return my photo to Lightroom where I started. This program is saving them somewhere else. Am I missing something? What is the point of it being a plug in if it won't return to original editor? Please help!

Have you chosen "Auto Plugin mode" in the preferences? This FAQ entry gives more detail:
