Can it be used as a database

Kia Ora from New Zealand.
It's terrible getting old, as I was sure I posted this a few days ago, alas, apparently not.
Can SPE be used as a database/ storage where you can type the photo's event and even add stars etc so I can pull out certain photo's? I am very new to photography, yet the amount of my images is growing very quickly and before things get out of hand, I had better get control back. By the way, this is a really good program and advise anyone who are thinking of purchasing it to do so.
