I am taking the test drive & can't seem to find text. Either I am blind or there is no Text. Please add Text if not. I am very new to the editing world & would Love to know how to add it. Thanks!

Currently Smart Photo Editor doesn't support text, but as several people have asked for it, we will prioritise adding it soon.

Speaking of text, is it possible to watermark a photo in Smart Photo Editor?

Good question. Do you mean a visible watermark or an invisible one? Visible watermarks are currently only available through the expert mode, via the Add Image button followed by a Merge node. Invisible watermarks are not currently supported, but could be if enough people wanted them.

I would use this program more if we were offered invisible watermarks and could load more then one pic at a time. If we can load more then one pic already I cant find a way to do it. Please let me know on both subjects Thanks

To overlay another picture:

1. Click on the Effect Creator tool
2. Click "Add Image" to open another image
3. Drag a "Merge" node from the top set of nodes into the Effect Canvas
4. Join the Effect Input to the top input of the Merge node
5. Join the Scale node to the bottom input of the Merge node
6. Join the Merge node's output to the effect output.
7. Double click on the merge node to get different merging options.

All this process will be much simpler when the new compositing tool is released.

i see this was done in feb...but i would love the text option as well ....
not the basic fonts but some really really good ones

Please add text....I assumed it had text when I purchased (5/20/12). This is is only thing missing from your great photo program. HOPE you make this a priority as I am sure there are lots of subscribers that don't take the time to post suggestions. Love this program but will love it more with "Text". Thanks!

The text tool has been written and is in testing at the moment. So we hope to have it out soon!
