classic car composite

I am trying to do a classic car composite and I can not figure out how to get the original background out of the windows of the car without making it look really really fake. help!

One thing I'd suggest is that the new background is somehow drained to some extent of contrast and colour where you can see it through the windows because I assume you are supposedly looking through glass or maybe even two windows?
