Answer to eadams question - this is for you Eve
Hi Eve,
You asked what effect I used on the bicycle image (image 7) in my post 'Another Rubbish Photograph to ART!'
The name of the effect (after a bit of research) is, I think, 'Experimental effect 005' - one of mine from the past. It seems to work best with images with strong verticals, horizontals and features like circles - it is particularly good with text images such as posters on walls. Anyway I've created a few images without effort t illustrate the possibilities - I've combined effects with the later results. Have a go yourself and post some of your results.

Re: Answer to eadams question - this is for you Eve
Anyway Eve, great to hear from you - hope you had a fabby vacation. Thanks for your kind words and I hope you are well.
Cheers,
Andrew
PS. I used Photoscape for the shadow border. Note, other than cropping I did nothing to the original images - simply applied 'Experimental effect 005' and adjusted hue, saturation and vibrance, and, on occasion added another effect. Very EASY to do.
