Coloring book pages from photos

How can I create coloring book pages from my photos, or abstract shapes? Also, pencil sketches for watercolor painting from photos?
Any ideas?

The only thing I can think of is to a) convert the image to B&W and b) select one of many pencil effects. This will produce a realistic pencil drawing of your photo. However, you'll still have pencil 'shading'. So you won't get simple outlines like you would get in a colouring book.
