Cannes, France - My kind of Artwork

On the French Riviera, Cannes, is a popular tourist resort. The commune, which is located in the Alpes-Maritimes department, is home to the International Festival of Creativity, Midem, and the biennial Cannes Film Festival. The city is well-known for its connections to the affluent and well-known, for its expensive hotels and restaurants, and for holding a lot of conferences. Here are some images of the old town.

The effect used is one of my favourites created by me to produce an arty image with a dynamic impressionistic feel. Colours are distorted and there are ink outlines and slightly rotated copy outlines. This effect works well (I think) on some images but certainly not all. Works well with small buildings & houses. The effect is called 'skew whiff naive watercolour & ink' by 'one-more-try' (me) and has been available for quite a while now. Hope you enjoy these images of Cannes Old Town.
