Surprisingly for a beta this complex I am seeing and reporting very high stability using v.0.7.16 for several weeks now. Especially after applying more than 3-4 filters to a single image at a time, with multiple setting changes within each filter. I fact I haven't seen a single instance of "crash" or function hang-up at any time as I attempt to beat up my sample images.

Suggestion:
An 8-core machine with 6GB RAM running under Vista (64-bit) may not be a typical platform among beta testers. Because of the extensive object modeling within SPE it could be of interest to gather both active and passive binary data on user's hardware and software configuration, particularly those claiming multiple crashes and failures. To pin down incipient crash nodes in the SPE UML you might incorporate a system-state dump feature in the next beta. More valuable than a verbal report would be an uploaded binary (text) dump documenting the failure mode and location.

Crashes regularly..
Using quite large files from 24M Sony a65.. Feels like it runs out of memory..

Yes it sounds like memory might be an issue when you get to files that big. The only real solution would be for us to produce a 64 bit version of SPE, and I'm not sure how far away that might be, so I'm afraid the only thing we could do is offer a refund, or you could open a support ticket here: http://www.smartphotoeditor.com/support ... icket_main and see if you can get our support team to reproduce your problem. We do testing on a 30MP image, but we'll have more of a check now to see if we can reproduce your problem.

I can email the error report that Mac produces everytime, just let me know to which email. It now crashed everytime I use it. Would be sad, think it has great potential.
