Transparent Watermark
How do I place a transparent watermark on my images? I overlay a .png file and it still shows up with the white background. How do I eliminate that?
Re: Transparent Watermark
Hi Christykayep,
We don't currently support alpha channels in png files (although we could add it if there was demand). However, if your logo is on a white background you could try any of these Blend Modes, which makes white become transparent:
Multiply
Color burn
Divide
Darken
Alternativly you could use the brush to remove the white background.
Are there other people interested in alpha channel support for pngs?

Re: Transparent Watermark
So the color burn takes away the white but then the color is too light in my logo to see it. Is there a way I can darken the color? Or brighten it up so it can be seen better?

I want it for many reasons....
overlay without having to remove background area primarily.

Re: Transparent Watermark
I really need a transparent watermark... I love this software, however, I'm having to import photos to Lightroom 4 just to put the watermark on them. I would really like to NOT HAVE TO DO THAT! Please add the TRANSPARENT WATERMARK to your software

I haven't purchased the soft wear as of yet, but the transparent watermark would be great!!
