This software is just not working for me

Saw a thread on one of my camera forums regarding this software -- and it looked interesting -- so I decided to download the trial version -- and give it a try.
I can get a picture to open -- but then NONE of the buttons will work! I can click on FILE till I'm blue in the face -- nothing. Nore will any of the other buttons respond. I saw a thead that said to try "alt F" -- which did allow the File button to function -- but nothing else.
After clicking about 20 times -- I was finally able to open the Effects Gallery -- when I click on an effect -- the one about 5-6 effects over is the one that comes up in the larger screen. If I right arrow over to an effect -- I can then control which one I pick -- but then I can't move any of the sliders -- can't CONFIRM -- can't do anything !
I can't use any of the tools at all -- very frustrating -- glad I haven't actually bought this yet.

I do use Photoshop CS6 and LR 3.6 (including Nik and OnOne filters) with out any problems --

I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times trying to see if maybe I got a bad install or something.
Any help would be appreciate as I really like the concept of this software

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with the software. Can you try removing Smart Photo Editor and installing it again? For help uninstalling the software from your computer please go here: http://www.smartphotoeditor.com/support/?qid=3

Please download the trial version again by using one of the following links.

OK -- I did another uninstall -- and downloaded from the PC link you provided.....no change at all -- still having major issues.
First of all -- I am on a Dell Win 7 Pro Intel i7-2600 (3.4GHZ) machine with 16 Gig of RAM.
When I open Smart Photo Editor -- none of the buttons will respond. I can click on Load Image or File many times -- and nothing happens.....nor when I click on Edit, View, Community or Help.
I try clicking on any of the Tutorials on the home page -- nothing. If I open a folder with pictures in it -- right click and open with -- then the picture will open in Smart Photo Editor -- I then go to the Effects Gallery -- and can click on it about 15 times -- (slowly) and eventually it "might open". Once it opens -- the first effect is shown on the screen -- with some effect controlls on the left side of the big picture -- if I try to adjust a slider by clicking and trying to drag it -- either nothing at all happens -- or sometimes the effects film strip will go away and it will go back to Gallery Mode.
It just isn't working correctly on my PC -- and I am lost as to what to do about it
Sure would like to get this to working right -- as it looks like some really neat effects I would like to use

Also -- everytime I click on a button -- (where nothing responds) the only thing that does happen is that I click once -- and the picture enlarges -- and I click again -- and the pictuer then goes back to standard size -- like I am defaulted into the magnifier tool or something.
This happens no matter where I click

Just trying to provide some additional information
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Well -- I just tried your SW without using my Wacom -- just my old wireless mouse -- and it works just fine now !!

Does your product NOT support the Wacom ?
At least I can try it out now and see if I like it

Emma, I am using the Wacom Intuos 5
After finally being able to try out your software -- I went ahead and bought it -- really like it !

Any plans on supporting the Wacom ? It would be nice to not have to change to my old mouse when using it

Hi Dgang26,

Re tablets: We've got a bunch of tablets in the office (mostly Wacom) that we test with and it works ok on them, so unfortunately it seems to be a bug specifically with the Wacom Intuos 5 and its drivers. The actual interface to the tablet is handled via the toolkit that we use (called Qt), and that's being worked on all the time, so it's possible the bug will be fixed in the future. It's also possible that a driver update for your tablet might fix it too. Sorry I can't give you more good news than that.
