I just bought this software yesterday, and I'm very impressed with it!

I really like the oil pastel effect, seen in the photo below:

Hi Doug,

Glad you are enjoying Smart Photo Editor & already submitting your work. Great looking image & result.

How nice of you to THANK the effects contributors - this is not done very often and it is very encouraging to receive such a kind comment. I'm just a user such as you - but at 65 I have lots of time on hand. So since about March this year I set about contributing effects to the Smart Photo Editor Community and I'm glad that they are proving useful to others - once I'm gone, perhaps some of my effects will live on in the ARTWORKS of others.

I have contributed nearly 850 effects now (and am the leading contributor) - once I reach 1000 effects I'll let others take up the mantle. From that point onward the effects that I create will be for my sole purpose. You'll find a list of my effects by going to the left hand column of this page and clicking on the USER LEADERBOARD Button - I'm at the top of that list under andrewb2012.

Hope what I've done encourages you to become a contributor yourself in the not to far future and maybe even take over from me when I stop.

By the way, I use many of the effects of others and often combine my effects with the effects of others.

Thanks Andrew, glad you like the picture! I'm making some notecards with the pictures and donating them to my son's elementary school for their winter PTO fundraiser. I was going to do plain photo cards, but after seeing the effects of this program I was inspired to do something different.

Wow, that's a lot of effects you've done! I have two kids in elementary and high school, so I don't have a lot of free time to work on effects. But, I hope to be able to return the favor and make some contributions in the future.
