Samples of My Work Using SPE

Postby mississippibellalis » Wed Jan 09, 2013 7:43 pm

I do most of the editing/retouching in PSP but I use SPE for final touches that really give my edits the look I'm going for. I was trying to recreate an authentic-looking 1930s photo from a free .psd file I found on the net. Any suggestions for how to improve this?

Looks great to me mississippibellalis - I think you have achieved what you wanted to achieve. Kind of funny being asked how to improve this, because I'm sure you really mean how can you distress it even more. If that is your real question then I think you probably know the answer - the edges of the image are pristine and as such may reduce the feeling of 1930's authenticity. Perhaps a distressed edge, with a little tear or piece missing, might be what you are looking for. But I think the image has achieved most of what you set out to achieve!

Nice One!

Cheers,

Andrew

Thanks, great suggestion. Just what the edit needed.
