The Long Kiss
Hi Folks,
This image was taken in 2012 whilst on a visit to London - this candid moment was captured because I thought it might make a nice little abstract cameo - I took the image in such a way as not to be observed and decided not to bother about framing or worrying about extraneous figures etcetera. I believed that I could sort things out post-capture.
Processed in Smart Photo Editor using effects a private effect of mine that I might release to the SPE Community in time - have no worries because if you like my effects there are now over 1,000 in the Effects Gallery and these can be found under my user name andrewb2012. The border effect was created in SPE using one of my effects called 'Old Legal Document'.
In this instance I'm showing you the original image unprocessed, straight out of the camera (other than resizing) - from a photography point of view - NOT A VERY GOOD IMAGE, but one that contains a little cropping nugget that can be processed in Smart Photo Editor, to what I think is Good Effect! So don't throw away what you consider to be poor photographs until you are satisfied that no 'gold' nugget exists that worth saving.
I enjoy abstracting ordinary photographs using color shifts & rotations and textures!
To all the contributors within the SPE Forum - THANK YOU for your great images - I do try to look at them all and I do comment when I am able, but currently I don't have available time. So keep up the good work - your work is appreciated.
If you would like to see a wide range of images using my SPE contributions and that of other authors (plus images using other software or other software in conjunction with Smart Photo Editor) then you might like to view my 'All My Images' Set on Flickr - simply view - no need to comment! here is the link:

Another link you might wish to view is my friend PierreD's Flickr Photostream at:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/8450532@N04/
Now Pierre is just an AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHER with a WONDERFUL ARTISTIC EYE - his Flickr images are great, but under each image is normally a link to his Galleries - WELL WORTH VIEWING.
Pierre often uses Smart Photo Editor to process his images and he has honored (American English) me by using quite a few of my effects to AMAZING EFFECT! He often combines effects and creates FANTASTIC WORKS OF ART in the process. His original images start off as INSPIRING anyway, but his little post-processing artistic twists are A DELIGHT TO THE EYE.
Hope you Enjoy!

Hi Andrew,
I like this picture; it's a nice style and effect. You've developed a technique in your artwork that identifies you and your work. I can see your work hanging in modern homes or traditional, your style fits them all. I do hope you share this effect, too. Thanks for all your creative effects.
Phelon
PS Thanks a lot for the nice description how you took the picture, etc. and giving accolades to other photographers with their URL's.

Re: The Long Kiss
Hi Phelon,
Thank you for giving this image consideration and leaving your very kind & lovely comments.
Hope you are well my friend.
It has been quite a while since I've had the time to comment on others uploads - but here I am at last. So sorry in the delay in responding to you.
You might want to look out for two new effect series that uploaded last night, they are called:
Vibrant Colors 001-017
New Dimensions 001-009
Have a great week!
Cheers,
Andrew
