Hi cpar,
To crop to an oval:
1. First of all use the crop tool to crop your picture to the right size.
2. Then click on Effects Gallery and type oval into the search box in the top right.
(N.B. I've only just added the oval effects, so you might have to wait a couple of days for them to appear in the gallery).
