Why I Love SPE--Example: TV Tower 1,2,3
Here's an example of what SPE can do. An image I took of a TV tower in Stuttgart, DE looked at first like a throw-a-way. Then along comes SPE, and I can make it look like something I can be proud of to publish. Painting with the brushes is my favorite tool, and, of course, using the many choices of effects (and then sometimes stacking them).
This is the original, an SPE enhanced with new sky painted in, and then, thirdly, the final touch with frame and name. I also used Topaz Denoise.

Thanks Andrew,
It's fun to accomplish nice results with our digital photography. The more we practice with our digital tools, the better our results, and, therefore, the more fun we have. In general, I guess you might as well say, too, that as our digital tools get better, our results get better. I use to put out that same philosophy years ago, and wondered just how far we can improve in our living years; well, I'm having a ball, and it's a thrill each time I hear of a new update, a new software, a new camera, etc., etc. Then I read about a local camera store is selling pin-hole cameras and some great prints by their users. We sometimes get a reminder how far we have come, and it's thrilling to me. In twenty years I'll be a hundred-years old, and I wonder what we'll celebrate on that birthdate.
