Thanks for your nice comments, Arwin. This is one of my favorites--the list gets longer as I continue to enjoy SPE.

Hi Arwin,

This is the picture you commented first about; I appreciate you bringing it up, so I'm thanking you again.

Also, thanks to AndrewB2012, RussellDavies, dd, and all the many others who stopped to take a look at this Berlin Concert Hall. The results were taken from a Berlin Tour Bus while paused on the corner of the plaza. Only SPE was used to bring out the final image. SPE is a great photo enhancer!

Best wishes to all, and happy shooting and digitizing!

Yeah that's indeed the image I referred to, still awesome to see! It's almost as of the people are miniature as you see at model railroads or as pewter figurines :)

Very nice! :)

This picture is brilliant. I can see you've replaced the sky (only because I've used this sky background myself) but can you remember what effects you applied to the remainder?

Hi Richard,

Thankfully I made a Session file at the time, and I can now look back and see how I accomplished the resulting picture.

Session shows 1. Original 2. Accentuate lighting effect 3. Replace Sky with Sky-Evening Orange effect 4. Area Treatment (don't know what I did there---doesn't look like much) 5. White Frame with Black Line effect 6. Text added 2 times on frame and 1 time on picture for signature.

That's all I show. Sometimes I start editing by putting a picture in Photoshop and use Topaz Noise, and then bring it into SPE to start the main work. Not on this work, but a standard procedure is to also use SPE's Straightening Tool (usually necessary).

Thanks for your interest! Keep'um coming.

Kind Regards,

Phelon

Hi Arwin,

Yes, the people do have that "extra" look, and I used to be reminded of some lithograph prints in the "Saturday Evening Post" that were kinda similar. I like very much this picture, but as a thought for another picture, I might try for that "Poster Edge" "Simplify" look--keeping it realistic while showing something special in the results.

Thanks for all your comments, it keeps us going.

Kind Regards,

Phelon
