Loading several photo's to make HDR

was wondering if perhaps the best way to do this is to bring all three images in thru a new composite. then use masks to shw the desired areas?

Hi Penningtons7,

Yes, you certainly could use the composite feature to bring in several different exposures, then choose which parts of each exposure you want. You could use the Move Rotate Scale button to align them all first.

If the pictures are taken correctly three photos one at recommended setting. One a little over and anoter a little under. These photos then are taken in succession on a tripod. This assures they are the exact same composition in all three. Then one would bring these into a editor as layers and mask them so that the final image only shws the parts with correct exposure in each frame.

I have not seen any software that inteligently looks at the three images and creates the final comosite. I believe they all are adjusted manualy.

I would love that capability, although I am a novice, I have seen HDR images that I would love to be able to duplicate regarding the process...could you please add a tutorial with it or make it simple to use? That would be excellent!
