Red in Boston
This is a bronze statue of Red Auerbach, the famous coach and later president of the Boston Celtics basketball team. The statue is located in Fanueil Hall in Boston, MA.
The original picture was pretty plain, so I applied the Light Pencil effect to it. I like it better as a pencil sketch!
And the original:

PS I'm glad you told a story with your picture, because every picture has a story, and it adds a lot of meaning to the results.

Re: Red in Boston
Thanks for the feedback!
I certainly could have elaborated more on my story. I took a Night Photography class last week and this is one of the pictures I took in that class. I almost threw away that picture because I really didn't like the original. Glad I didn't, because I really like the pencil sketch version. So does my son- he wanted it for his room (he loves basketball), so I printed it out at 11"x14" and framed it. Came out great!
I used to use "P" mode on the camera almost exclusively, but now I'm learning to use Manual mode more. Using Manual is a requirement for night photography!

Some I did more work on than others. SPE was very helpful when doing touch-up work to the sky in several pictures.
