Re: Black and white with colour
To do this follow these steps:
- First click "Select Area" on the left hand side of the screen.
- Choose "Background" from the menu of choices.
- Now you want to select everything that you want to make black and white. The easiest way of doing this is to select the areas you want to keep in color, then press "Invert Selection" (in Utilities on the left). The smart brush means you don't have to be accurate when drawing, as it will avoid edges within the larger circle automatically.
- Once everything you want to be black and white is covered in red, press "Confirm Selection And Browse Effects"
- You might see something you like straight away, but to get more black and white effects, go to "Color - Vibrance, Black And White..." then select "Black And White".
- Once you've found an effect, Confirm it, then you can save the result (From the File Menu) or do more changes from the Edit Tools on the right.
- To edit which areas are colour, once Confirmed, you can edit the selection by clicking on it, where you see it in the tab at the top of the software.
