Quick selection tool

While the current method of selecting an area from a picture is adequate, I would love to see something like Adobe's quick selection tool. I find the quick selection tool fast and quite accurate. Also, the quick selection tool requires less 'deselect'.

A useful tip in making selections easier:

Try just going round the edge of your area with as small brush as you can, then use the correct fill button that appears to fill in the inside.
