Wave and Amplitude

Postby WC Lawson » Thu Sep 19, 2013 9:03 am

I don't know how to create my own effects very well. Have learned much from the tutorials. I can't thank you enough for them.

I haven't been able to figure out how to change the wave and amplitude independently of each other. I have some projects in mind. One of them is to create designer/artistic fonts.

I used an entry level photo editing program years ago that had this feature. It was about all I used it for. I could send you some of my projects that I used it for, if you are interested.

Thanks for considering this. SPE is amazing. It has opened a wonderful world of expression for me. I realize that this is primarily targeted to enhancing photographs. For me it is that and so very much more.
Keep up the good work, you are appreciated!

Hi Wess,

you could post a picture here to show what you mean? Are you talking about wave like effects?

Thank you for your reply Toni,
Here is an example of what I am trying to communicate. I am an artist not a computer guru, so, my technical jargon is lacking.

The original is attached as is the change that I did with the wave and amplitude effect. I was able to increase the effect with a slider, wave and amplitude independently.

This isn't the most artistic image but it is easier to visualize.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for the example. I'll bear that in mind for a future update.
