Hi,

The brush is quite complicated code, so on an older computer with a large brush on a high res image, you might see jitter. Try reducing the size of it, to see if that speeds things up.

Hi Dugal,

Did you have 'High Performance Display' on? (File > Settings > Color) If it's off, it will jitter for sure ;)

Hi Dugal, I've ensured the 'HPD' is ticked but I struggle running a large brush on a netbook with only 2 gig of RAM. However on my iMac it is plain sailing until I go large, and on occasions it can be sluggish for sure; it is not frequent on the iMac, hardly at all (running 8gig RAM); Your new laptop should be very relaxed handlig SPE though.

Hi,

Does it jitter even when you use a very small brush?
