Color calibration for RAW

Postby obaeyens » Sun Jun 29, 2014 3:06 pm

I have this X-Rite ColorChecker Passport to calibrate my camera sensor.
I would love to see that added so when I open RAW files then it calibrates this opened image.

The X-Rite system is really intended for Adobe software, as you can see the DNG profles are stored in the Adobe path:

Also X-Rite only list Adobe software that is compatible with it:

In theory direct support could be added for the Smart Photo Editor but this isn't planned at the moment.

If you use Smart Photo Editor Studio as a plug-in to Photoshop then it will support the X-Rite DNG profiles through Photoshop.

Well I use Smart Photo Editor to completely get rid of Photoshop and anything related to Adobe.
I don't like the subscription model of Adobe.
