printing sizing

Postby camacho-richard » Thu Nov 21, 2013 12:01 am

I would like help in how to size a photo0 so that i can get all of the picture into the printing. I have been printing and all of te small sizes come out good, but when it comes to the 8x10, either the top of the picture is cut off or the bottom is. If I do not want to cut off the bottom or top I have to print it with a lot of white (unprinted paper) on top and bottom. How can I correct this? Please help...

Have you tried playing round with the margins in your printer settings?

Tony,

Now I want to do a poster size (11x14) print. but every time I print the print, prints the long way(14x11). How can I change it to print the way I want it.

What is the size of your image? It needs to be in the correct ratio to fit properly. Also, is the image in portrait or landscape view and what view are you printing in?

Printing is really only a preview in SmartPhotoEditor as printing is not its intended purpose, and there are so many other programs that do printing well and some of them are even free.

Can I suggest you use the free Irfanview program, or Photoshop if you have it?

thanks,
Gary
