keeping my favorites and deleting ones

Hi, newbie here,
I have gone though all the effects in the gallery and have tediously moved the ones I like from the "recently applied or shortlisted" to my "favorite effects", hence dragging them from right to the left. Now is there anyway that I can delete the ones off of the shortlist so I don't confuse myself anymore than I am?

The Recently Applied effects keeps a record of the effects you previously applied and this list can not be edited. You can only delete effects from your Favorite Effects List.
