Hi DennB,
The second picture is excellent; love how you made it look. Great artwork using a real picture!

Hi DennB,
I like both versions very much. In the first version I thought I saw a huge cat-monster lurking up ahead on the road of life:
I guess my imagination just ran away with me
I love the expressive central figure of your grandson - the outspread arms and the way the head is looking down make me wonder what he is thinking of at that moment.

Hi Eve,
You have eagle eyes to see that hidden "cat"; you would be my protector in going down the "Road of Life". Nice to talk to you!! Looking forward to seeing more pictures from your vacation. I spent most of the time on the French Riviera and in Paris and Marseille. I would like to see more someday.
Regards,
Phelon

Thanks for looking and commenting. Good eye, Eve. I usually see things like that but missed it. Thanks for pointing it out!

Re: One of my Grandsons
Hi DennB,
Both images are DELIGHTFUL, but my own preference is the first one which I think is more ENCHANTING and CAREFREE than the second bolder image. The images capture the youthful spirit perfectly and shows your grandson expressing his joy for life. Such images make really precious memories!
Thanks for your recent visit to my blog and your kind comments. I've just changed the theme (style) and added a new tutorial video called 'Using the Composite Feature to take Control of Effects' which you can view here:

Anyway, lovely work and information about your new program.
Have a great day,
Regards,
Andrew

Re: One of my Grandsons
Hi DennB,
I'm BLOWN AWAY - your music is FABULOUS (I will listen properly later and, I'm sure, many times in the future) - djazznbluzz (all you I presume - FANTASTIC). Thanks for the link - BRILLIANT!!!!!
I've just traded in all of my acoustic guitars as my arthritis in my hands made them very difficult to play - but I've not given up (my genres are traditional music, country blues and a bit of ragtime) - I've just bought an Epiphone Les Paul and a Finder Squire Vintage Modified Surf Stratocaster - both set up with very low actions to allow me a bit of FUN! Your music will be an INSPIRATION to me as I intend to concentrate of blues from now on. Never reach your standard, but none-the-less I can play a bit, so I'm thrilled to have a link to your SUPERB website.
I did buy Reaper Studio and the Steinberg CI 1 interface so that I could lay down some backing tracks to play along to. I'll never play in public again, but I intend to go down fighting! Got a brilliant little amp (you probably know of it) - the Roland Cube GX with build in (Boss) effects including delay and reverb. It has a 'mic' setting and my guitars sound quite acoustic when I use that with my guitar - so this allows me to continue fingerpicking.
Anyway, my friend - hearing your wonderful music has been very uplifting and I will learn a lot from listening to your compositions.
Now I feel pulled between visual art and music! That's life!
Keep up the good work,
Regards,
Andrew
