Re: Pollackitten
Very intriguing image Sunbears! It's like it's taken in very bad winter weather circumstances!
I needed to see how some of my Snowy weather effects would do on this one and need to say, Snowy weather 2-7 works great on this image!
Still love your creation, like it's not creatively enhanced at all, perfect!
Thanks for sharing!

Re: Pollackitten
thank you for the kind words!
Q: i'm noticing that when i come back to this post, on my browser's screen, only the left half of the image shows up (and it looks portrait orientation). i have to click on the image to get the whole (landscape orientation) piece to show up. is this normal?

Arwin: I'd be honored for you to post the results of Snowy Weather 2-7 on this board and/or your own that you linked. thank you
Re: Pollackitten
Hi Sunbears,
It's indeed normal that an image is shown half, you need indeed to click on it to enlarge, thats why I mention it always when posting an image
Here is your image with the Snowy Weather 2-7 effect on it, tweaked the Screen Merge a bit to 0.0400.
Cheers,
Arwin

Arwin: I love it. It gives an even greater sense of camouflage than the original through its more concordant palette. Very nice.
Re: Pollackitten
Thank you Sunbears but credits are for you, it was your image that gives me the idea to add a snow effect because of the sence it already gave me.
I can hear the snow falling from the trees, it's cold, shivers all over but you have that picture of a wild animal!

Re: Pollackitten
Hi Sunbears,
Jackson Pollock would no doubt have been proud of you if not inspired himself. Often viewers don't get into Abstract Expressionist images, but this one is exceptional and has the added attraction of a hidden realism in the form of Kitty. I was lucky enough to do a full-time Art course when I was nearing 60 and had lots of opportunity to try different techniques and, I've got to say, I enjoyed the style of drip painting. I've noted the other comments with which I wholly agree, and I note too, Arwin's version with the snow effect which is softer, but I think I prefer your image. I wonder what it would look like in 'High Contrast' black & white - just a thought!
Thanks for your contribution.
Kind regards,
Andrew

Re: Pollackitten
Hi Sunbears,
Thought I would try a little Pollock Style Abstract just for FUN! There are no animals hidden within - simply an Abstract.
Here is the process:
Thanks for reminding me of how much FUN it is to create this kind of image.
Hope you Enjoy!
Cheers,
Andrew
