Light For My Path

Postby ArtofOrdinary » Sun Nov 16, 2014 5:23 pm

Well, I hardly have the nerve to post my effort having seen some of the splendid results of others work. I am the ultimate in technological numptiness and am very lazy about learning anything that seems remotely complicated. Still, I have downloaded Andrew Buchanan's Creative Kit 1 and I'm excited about that as his visual process of 'how to' is easy to follow.

The image I am posting here is of an old leather bound Sunday Readings book with my Christmas Tree lights in the background creating a bokeh. This was last Christmas so the tree was already set up with the lights (thanks to my darling daughter).

I added the 'Fantasy' effect followed by 'Light Flare' then added text and that was pretty much all there was to it.

It has come up quite large so you will have to click on it to get the full view.

I hope someone will like it. :D

Hi ArtofOrdinary,

How lovely of you to post this beautiful composite - I hold the text dear to my heart too. I am thrilled that you have downloaded my Creative Kit One and I'm delighted that you found that the tutorial videos was easy to follow. I was particularly pleased that you took the ethos of my idea and did your own thing - true creativity! I don't remember ever seeing a post from you in the past, but I hope I see many more in the future. Your ARTWORK is both uplifting and a delight to the eye. Perhaps you should change your name to ArtoftheExtraordinary.

Have a beautiful & creative week.

Thanks for posting your fine image.

Regards,

Andrew

Hello Andrew,

Thanks you for your lovely comments on my image, I'm really pleased that you like it. I hardly every produce an image that hasn't gone through some kind of treatment on SPE, it's just that I forget about the community part (sorry). I will try and take note of the effects I use in the future and post some.

All the best to you,

Anne.

Thank you for commenting on my image, Eve. I appreciate it. You have the same name as my mother and through sheer coincidence my father was called Adam. No longer with us but many fun memories especially regarding the names.

Best regards,

Anne.
