Got Distracted
Hi Folks,
Working on some new surprises! Whilst, I was designing new templates, I drifted away from what I was doing to PLAY. Just having FUN creating ABSTRACT Art.
I was using paint & drawing programs to create the templates when I created a little 'accidental' abstract which looked as if it could be further processed in Smart Photo Editor - I cannot show you the original because it would give the game away, and you know how I like to keep you guessing! Still a boy at heart! Here are some of the many variations I created with minutes using SPE - Oh, how I love this program!
Amazing what borders can do! The final outside little 'outside' borders were applied in Photoscape!

Re: Got Distracted
Andrew, thank you for posting these! I love the way the shapes you drew interact with the gears image, and that gives me more and more ideas to play around with. Since you posted your Creative Resource kit I have been playing around drawing little doodles to be able to add them as composites. Alas, I have no talent for drawing, but for me the fun is in the doing, and SPE is so much FUN!

Hi Eve,
As always thanks for your comments and support. I am so pleased you are getting into making your own motifs, doodles and artwork to add as composites - this is my greatest reward, that is, when someone like you takes the 'given' ideas and makes them their own. You'll never know how much this means to me - I never set out to create little clones of me, but rather, I set out to encourage others to explore the possibilities of SPE, to experiment, come up with their own take on things and stamp their own personalities on their ARTWORK. So I am delighted to hear what you are doing and hope to see some of your work in the future.
The resource materials that I created, can of course be modified and altered to suit users' own tastes - this is another way of personalising my graphics and I encourage this too. If users wish to use the resources 'as is' I'm happy about that also, but I'm most impressed when someone takes my ideas and DEVELOPS them. So thanks for your efforts - hope you have much FUN in your creative endeavours!
Kind regards,
Andrew

Re: Got Distracted
You're being busy with SPE, it almost gives me the feeling you like this program a lot
My points would go to #1 and #3! Love to see your creativity, not always my personal taste but I can see your excitement and the fun you had creating them
Keep going!
Cheers,
Arwin

Re: Got Distracted
Thanks for your nice comments Arwin.
Not necessarily images I would want to keep or hang on my wall - the point of showing them is captured in your comment "...I can see your excitement and the fun you had creating them!"
As I said, I simply drifted from my task on hand and did some experiments, which were great FUN! I only posted them as inspirational ideas which users might explore for themselves. There was little thought in making them - simply a little playtime, so they don't have any major artistic merit as they were merely a means to explore ideas!
Kind regards my friend!
Hope you are well!
